Start with the Tools, Dive into the Lessons When You Need Them

Head straight to Lesson 7.8, the Complete Downloadable Toolkit for CAS. Download the full template package. It’s organized into four stages — Discovery, Analysis, Validation, and Communication — and each template includes built-in guidance to walk you through the process.

Start filling them in. When a template asks you something you’re not sure about — say, what type of competitive advantage you’re pursuing, or how to think about your target customer’s switching triggers — that’s your cue to open the relevant lesson and read up on that specific topic. You dip into the course content on a need-to-know basis rather than front-loading all the learning.

You can also use the AI tools alongside the templates if you want to cross-check your thinking or speed things up. They’re designed to complement the manual templates, not replace them.
